As you may have heard I will be undertaking one of my biggest challenges this June and cycling the beautiful yet hilly landscape of Italy. Starting in Sienna and cycling 400km of rolling hills to arrive in Rome over 3 days.
I will not be alone, I will be joined by 49 other brave and determined women from various sectors in the property and construction industry. I will be representing John Robertson Architects, an office which im proud to say nearly 50% women.
Pedelle is an amazing event and one I'm thankful to be a part of, not only does it celebrate women in the industry but most importantly raises money for Coram - the oldest childrens charity.
Coram is committed to improving the lives of the UKs most vulnerable children and young people. Their vision - that every child has the best possible chance to lead a fulfilling life.
I was fortunate to have a supporting family to see me through to becoming the Archtiect I am today. To think that the money I raise through this event can help someone else who is less fortunate have that same opportunity is one of the reasons I am undertaking this challenge.
Having only used cycling as a means of escaping the London underground for my commute the training for this event has allowed me to find a new passion for riding. I have been fortunate to train with a fantastic group of women. My weekends and evenings spend strapped into my 2 wheels.
Therefore I ask for you to donate what you can to support me in this challenge. Please note that all you donations will be go to Coram. John Robertson Architects has kindly paid for my entrant fee.
