In the past I have told people that going to the South of France for MIPIM can be hard work and understandably received little or no sympathy. My regular means of travel to and from Cannes has been by plane but each year I have seen the cyclists arrive and thought that maybe one year I would try it. Call it what you like (eg mid life crisis) but that year has arrived, The total distance is c1,000 miles but only the very hardy cycle the whole way and lesser mortals such as me will cycle a minimum of 75 miles a day over 6 days so we will notch up at least c500 miles. Its quite a daunting challenge particularly as I didn't even own a road bike this time last year and am certainly one of the rookies. Apart from the challenge of it, my other main motivation is that the event raises money and provides support for a very worthwhile
causes including Coram, with each rider pledging to raise at least £3,000. I would be very grateful for your support and the thought of doing something worthwhile and raising funding for Coram will certainly help me get through some of those saddle sore hours ahead! Thank you. Toby

Club Peloton is a fundraising charity which uses cycling as its platform for challenge events, bringing together a love for the sport and the opportunity to raise money for great causes.
Our main grant recipient - receiving two thirds of all funds raised - is Coram, the UK’s oldest and first children’s charity that has been supporting vulnerable children for over 275 years. Their flagship service, Coram Adoption, is the most successful voluntary adoption agency in the UK., finding loving and secure homes for some of the most vulnerable and hard-to-place children in the country. They now help more than 1.25 million children and young people every year, and this would not be possible without the generosity of our riders
Club Peloton will be supporting Coram’s vital programmes, with a specific focus on Coram’s unrivalled and pioneering adoption service. For more information please visit: www.coram.org.uk.
